A Happy New Year friends!
Sorry about my late reaction although some of you sent me greeting of New Year...
My sweet dog Chako passed away yesterday in the middle of the night. She was 18 years 2.5 Months old.
The battle against the pain was long, since 15th December, so I'm very sadly about her death but the other side, I'm glad that she was freed from the pain. She may not feel pain anymore.
Her body was cremated yesterday and her bones are at home with many flowers now. We can't realise that she is not here anymore, and we are crying often yet. We are only waiting now that the time resolves everything.

Oh, Aya, that's so sad. But you wanted her to be able to celebrate Christmas and New Year's eve with you and she did. I can't imagine losing a pet you've had for 18 years, almost half your life :(
She must be playing in heaven with our dog Zelda.
She was so lucky to have you as a friend.
I hope the rest of 2009 is much better for you!
